Duration

Sessions
On average 1 session, with a possible complementary touch-up after 15 to 30 days. There is no guaranteed fixed number — each case is assessed individually at the consultation.
Recovery
Mild swelling or bruising may occur for 3 to 7 days; most patients resume normal activities the same day.
Anesthesia
Anesthesia is always used — assessed at the consultation, and can be oral medication, local anesthesia and/or applied during microneedling, depending on the treatment indicated. Additional sedation is rarely needed (about 98% of patients do not need it).
